Based on how long it has been between posts, you might have already figured out that the third “P” is for patience. As I stated, you need to have a thankful heart and praise God in all things. You need to pray, particularly for the needs of others. Now for the really hard part, you must wait. Read these words from the book of Isaiah: The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
God is eternal. His mind is eternal. Our minds think in the finite. We cannot fathom the infinite or the eternal. When you are down, when you are weary, when you think no one cares, there is always One who does. He will never leave you or forsake you, and His love for you is immeasurable. He does, however, have his own timetable. Do not delude yourself into believing that no one has ever been where you are. Do not delude yourself into thinking that God does not care, that He does not see, that He does not feel your daily suffering. He does, and through Jesus Christ, he has walked in your shoes.
God Loves you. Wait on him. He is making you into a new creation, so that you will be prepared to love and to serve him for all eternity. Be patient. For how long must you wait? Well, you will have to wait for the fourth “P” to find out!
